Getting your chocolate gift to its destination in perfect condition is THE goal.  We ship mostly with UPS, occasionally with USPS for PO boxes or far away locales . We keep our shipping rates as low as possible by taking advantage of the commercial rates available through our website platform.

Temperatures are high in a number of states in fall and spring, so we will ship early in the week to avoid weekend transit days.  If your order is placed after Wednesday, it will ship the following Monday. We will delay shipping if there is a big heatwave, and will advise you of the delay.  For those states that are always hot, we will use an insulated box with appropriate ice, and may ship Second Day Air if needed.

Our shipping rates:

Maine shipping:  $11, most of the state is one day via UPS, or two days at most. 

New England shipping:  $13, one to two days. 

Mid-Atlantic and Midwest: $15, two to three days. 

South, Southwest and West:  $19, two to three days.

Hot States year-round:  $28, two to three days. Includes insulated box and ice packs.  Florida, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, Texas and Louisiana.

Please tell your recipient a gift is coming and to bring it inside right away.  No package, even with insulation/ice packs, will resist hours in the hot sun or hot mailbox.
